The DGN Trojan Marching Band performed this weekend in a Village of Woodridge Parade that celebrated the 60th Anniversary of the Village, and the 50th Anniversary of the Woodridge Park District.
Thank you to the dedicated members of the Marching Band who did not let a little rain dampen our community spirit. A special shout-out to the Woodwinds, who became a 'dancing band' after rain forced those musicians to leave their instruments on the buses.
The members of the DGN Trojan Marching Band joined forces with over 2,500 musicians at halftime of the Northwestern University vs UNLV football game on Saturday, September 14, 2019. Congratulations to all students and staff involved in the performance, and a special "shout out" to DGN Band alumnus Daniel Brethauer for his performance with the Northwestern University Marching Band!
Congratulations to the members of the DGN Trojan Marching Band for another terrific performance at the DGN vs. York home football game on September 13. Joined by nearly 200 guest musicians from Herrick Middle School and Jefferson Junior High School, the band continued to impress both through sound and sight.

The next Friday night performance of the Trojan Marching Band will be Homecoming (October 4). Are you an alumnus of the band? Join us! Registration for the 2019 Alumni Band remains open through this Friday, September 20.
The college football season is now in full swing, and many DGN Band Alumni are busy performing with collegiate and university band programs throughout the United States. From Illinois to Alabama, and Iowa to New York, congratulations to all of our graduates (pictured, and not pictured) who are taking their talents to the next level. We applaud your passion for music, as well as your desire to share your artistry in new academic communities across our nation!
Congratulations to the members of the 2019-20 Trojan Marching Band for a terrific debut performance this weekend! On the field, and in the stands, student musicians provided an energetic and captivating display of musicianship and spirit.
Special appreciation is extended to the members of the Class of 2020, and their families, as North High celebrated the contributions of our seniors prior to the Pre-Game Show and Kick-Off.
Thank you to Dr. Emmie Pawlak, and our team of Uniform Volunteers, who coordinated the sizing and executed the distribution of 210 marching band uniforms in preparation for the season. The band looked fantastic because of your hard work, dedication, and volunteer spirit!
Appreciation is also extended to the volunteers who provided the Marching Band with water during the game, assisted with moving Front Ensemble instruments, sold merchandise at the DGN-FOFA table, and provided video for our staff and students to review next week.
