DGN Band Alumnus to Perform at Chicago Jazz Festival

Congratulations to DGN Band Alumnus Nick Mazzarella, who will be performing with his Quintet at the 2022 Chicago Jazz Festival. The Nick Mazzarella Quintet will perform at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion on Sunday, September 4, at 5:25 PM.

Thank you to all the students who auditioned for placement. We appreciate the time and energy that you invested in preparing the audition materials, and we are looking forward to making some great music with you this year!

Our first class/rehearsal will be Thursday, August 25, at 7:30 AM. Please arrive by 7:25 AM to have time to get set up.

Note: if you are an AP Music Theory student, you will attend FULL jazz class tomorrow (Thursday). Dr. P is aware and in agreement. No need to email him, or Mr. Smith/Mr. Teague.
