Please join the musicians of the DGN Concert Band, DGN Symphonic Band and select members of the DGN Wind Ensemble on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 for the 2023 DGN Spring Band Concert! This concert will also feature Senior Concerto soloist, Allison Waden (Oboe).

The concert begins at 7:00 PM in the Clarence Johnson Auditorium of North High School. The concert is free to attend, and doors open for general seating at 6:30 PM.

Graduation Concert Honors Class of 2023 / Features World Premiere

Congratulations to the members of the DGN A Cappella Choir and the DGN Wind Ensemble for wonderful performances at the 2023 Graduation Concert. 

The DGN Wind Ensemble presented the world premiere of True North, under the baton of Los Angeles based composer and conductor Jermaine Stegall. 

A special "bravo" is extended to Cameron Hejny for his solo performance of Concertino, by Carl Maria von Weber.

Please join the musicians of the DGN Alumni & Friends Band on Saturday, April 29, 2023 for a concert honoring Brayer Teague's retirement and his 30-year tenure at North High. Featured soloists will include Kristin Bowers (Clarinet) and Miles Teague (Horn). Los Angeles based composer, Jermaine Stegall, will be in attendance as the band performs his new work, True North.

Congratulations to our 2023 - 2024 Trojan Marching Band and Winter Guard Leadership Team!* Many thanks are extended to each and every student who expressed interest and auditioned to serve as leaders. Our students' dedication and commitment to the band program is incredible, and we appreciate the hard work we saw from all of them during the audition process!

Appointing a group of leaders from our program that is already filled with exceptional students who lead all over our campus is a challenging endeavor. Each student who auditioned this year brought their own unique set of leadership skills to the table, and the competition was strong. We're proud to have great leaders of all ages in our program!

DGN Winter Guard: Bronze Medalists at Midwest Circuit Championships!

Congratulations to the DGN Winter Guard for their incredible performances at Championships this past weekend! With a truly phenomenal score of 80.54, the team finished in 3rd place in Finals at the Midwest Color Guard Circuit Championships. 

We extend our congratulations to each and every member of the team, as well as the coaching staff, for a successful season which which culminated with Bronze Medals at Championships!
