Thursday, October 19, 2017 was an exciting day in the history of the DGN Band program as Lord Mayor Duncan Sandys, great-grandson of Sir Winston Churchill, extended an invitation to the Trojan Marching Band to return to London, England and perform in the January 1, 2019 London New Year's Day Parade. Churchill's Great Grandson to Present Official Invitation to DGN Band

The Past Lord Mayor of Westminster, Duncan Sandys - great-grandson of Sir Winston Churchill - will be on campus today to extend an official invitation for the DGN Trojan Marching Band to perform in the 2019 London New Year's Day Parade.

The official Invitation Ceremony, which includes a performance of the DGN Trojan Marching Band, will be live-streamed at 12:00 PM (CST) on the DGN Fine Arts Department YouTube Channel. Tune in HERE.

Crosstown Classic 2017

Congratulations to the members of the DGN Trojan Marching Band, the DGS Marching Mustangs, the combined Choirs of District 99, the DGN Athenas and the DGS Fillies for entertaining performances and spirited collaboration at the 2017 Crosstown Classic!
