The Trojan Marching Band is less than 48 hours away from the curtain officially going up on their 2016 season!Like any production, it's important to have one last dress rehearsal to make sure everything is put together the right way, everyone knows their parts, etc.
Marching Band members should make special note of the following:
This Thursday's rehearsal will begin promptly at 4:30 as published. Students should come to rehearsal wearing ATHLETIC-TYPE shorts. Part of our rehearsal will be doing a trial run of getting into full uniform and practicing our parade march. As with any game night, wearing athletic shorts under the uniform will make changing go much quicker, and allow the uniform pants to fit correctly.
Students should also wear TALL BLACK SOCKS (not ankle socks) and their MARCHING BAND SHOES for this rehearsal. Students do NOT need to wear their Marching Band T-Shirt for Thursday's rehearsal.
Friday night's rehearsal before the football game will begin on the East Practice Field 5:00 pm. Students should be wearing the following:
- DGN Marching Band Star Wars T-Shirt
- Athletic-type shorts
- Tall Black Socks
- Marching Band Shoes
- Gray Marching Band Cap
Students without these important uniform parts may not be able to perform (but will be required to attend and assist throughout the evening).
